1st meeting entrepreneurs audio visual sector

It was the first gathering sponsored by the Andulcian government and various local film councils that brought together anyone who mattered in the small film production sector in Andalucia. CostaFilma had a booth there and founder Phil Smy spoke on a panel.
It was an exciting day, and an indication that Andalucia might actually get behind the small film production company.

November 4th, 2007 – CostaFilma, SL are pleased to announce the optioning of ‘Coming Out’, a comedy written by American screenwriter Jason Strange.
Coming Out is a romantic comedy about a homophobic executive who must pretend to be gay in order to land a homosexual client.
‘Coming Out’ was discovered through TriggerStreet. Trigger Street Productions, Inc., was formed in 1997 by Kevin Spacey to develop and produce entertainment in a variety of mediums. Realizing that the path to his own success would have been much rockier without the support and encouragement of many outstanding mentors, Spacey has sought out a way to inspire, nurture, and help bring exposure to new and undiscovered talent. Jason Strange hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he studied screenwriting at the University of Pennsylvania.
