CostaFilma was formed in 2006 to provide distribution and technical services. Though based in Andalucia, Spain, CostaFilma takes a global outlook with contacts throughout Europe.
Phil Smy
Screenwriter, Director and Composer, Phil Smy was born in Canada. He moved to Europe in 1997, and to Spain in 2000. He has composed scores for numerous feature films in addition to writing and filming his own work. Phil has been involved in the film business for many years. He brings to CostaFilma his understanding of the unique challenges facing Independent filmmakers.
Phil maintains his own site and an often humorous blog.
